Music, food, champagne, appetizers & free haircuts (people donating to Locks of Love & cancer survivors)!
Also, the local radio station will be doing a live broadcast...we can take donations at the event & we hope to see you there!

Hope is Bald - Give Money!!!!

Hope is Bald: Katie Schindler and Katy Wirth Shave their Heads to Raise Money to Fight Cancer

The 2010 Outer Banks Relay for Life team, Kindred Spirits, has planned several events to raise money to Support the American Cancer Society. In 2009, Kindred Spirits, lead by Katie Pendry, raised over $9,000.00 and have set a goal of $20,000.00 for this year. Inspired by the affects of dealing with cancer, team members Katie Schindler and Katy Wirth, are planning to honor the people who lose their hair to cancer by shaving their heads. Katie and Katy, have set a goal for $5000.00 each and are counting on your contribution.

Kindred Spirits is hosting an event on April 16, 2010, at Style DiVita in Kill Devil Hills, NC. Style DiVita will generously offer free haircuts to cancer survivors and for anyone donating their hair to Locks of Love, and, of course, shaving Katy and Katie’s heads! You are cordially invited to attend this event and support their efforts.
